The Year in Review, The Year Ahead

From a writing standpoint, I'm feeling pretty pleased with my progress this past year. I know I could do better, but that's what New Year's resolutions are for!

2006 Accomplishments

  1. Made significant progress on "Battlefield". I probably would have completed the first draft if it were not for:
  2. Participated in and "won" NaNoWriMo 2006.
  3. Wrote two new short stories.
  4. Just generally wrote more—a lot more—than the past several years.

2007 Goals

  1. Finish the first draft of "Battlefield".
  2. Finish a new draft of "Building Baby Brother" and submit it.
  3. Participate in NaNoWriMo 2007.
  4. Participate in Script Frenzy.
  5. A page a day. If nothing else: a page a day.
